Escorted Transportation Services

The Escorted Transportation Service (ETS) is a volunteer-based program that provides independent older adults age 60+ and individuals with disabilities age 18–59 with occasional rides to medical and dental appointments. The service is available Monday through Friday for appointments scheduled between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. There are no fees for this service.

Beginning July 1, ETS will be open to residents of Northfield and New Trier townships. While there is no fee, registration is required. Call 847.242.6257 to register or learn more.

Please note that ETS drivers cannot accommodate wheelchairs. ETS is not an urgent or emergency service and is intended for the occasional appointment; multiple requests per week by an individual cannot be accommodated. At least 7 to 10 days advance notice is required.

You must register to utilize ETS. To learn more or to register, call 847.242.6257
