We understand that caregivers play an integral role in the care journey. We offer a comprehensive caregiver support program designed to provide holistic assistance to those who are caring for a loved one experiencing memory loss. Mind Matters Early Memory Loss Program
Mind Matters is an award-winning program designed for individuals experiencing early-stage cognitive changes, offering connection, belonging, and enrichment. Participants engage in a supportive community with activities that stimulate the mind and body, including dementia education, cognitive exercises, discussion groups, movement and wellness, and creative arts.
House of Welcome Adult Day Program
Using a person-centered approach, House of Welcome’s (HOW) Day Program offers structured, therapeutic, small-group activities in a comfortable, home-like setting. Creative arts therapies are a unique feature of our programming. Participants enjoy meaningful activities and friendships, while caregivers benefit from time on their own. Family caregivers are also provided supportive case management services.


Memory Café
NSSC’s Memory Café is a safe, friendly, and supportive space for people with memory loss and their care partners to have fun and connect with others. The Memory Café meets on the second Monday of every month, with themed activities catered toward those with memory loss. May Memory Café: Creative Storytelling
Shift away from the expectation of memory and turn toward the freedom that imagination can bring with storytelling and imagination exercises facilitated by TimeSlips instructor Briaghn Bourjaily! Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

Caregiver Workshops
NSSC offers several workshops throughout the year to help caregivers alleviate stress, share experiences and solutions to issues, and find balance.
Dementia Family Support Group
This group provides a positive environment for family caregivers of people living with dementia to share their feelings, problem solve, build on strengths and share resources.
Meets virtually the third Thursday of the month 2:30 – 4 p.m.
